I haven’t seen as many deer during my morning hikes lately. Not sure if the winter weather changed their habbits, or if hunting season made them more skittish. I still see a lot of deer tracks….so, I know they are around.
Thankfully, red squirrels are always down for a photoshoot – even if they pretend to be angry about it.
I loved how the color in these leaves made them stand out. Reminded me of an old black and white movie where parts were edited to be in color.
Not the best picture, but I still kind of like it. Something about mallard ducks in the winter time makes them seem hardy.
